Leo Messi played his 600th game with FC Barcelona this Saturday, an extraordinary figure that only a select few have managed. The Argentine is only surpassed by Xavi and Andrés Iniesta on the podium of most matches played for the club. The No.10 was aware of the milestone, but was unable to score against his favourite opponent, Sevilla. Nonetheless, he still received the adulation of the Camp Nou public when his picture was put up on the scoreboard.

He had a handful of chances to find the net and one of them, almost at the end of the first half, was deflected away by the Andalusian defence. In the following video, look behind the scenes of Leo Messi's 600th game, from his arrival at the stadium until the warm-up.
