Everything is set at FC Barcelona for a wonderful Gamper Monday! The first team trained for the last time before the game with Chapecoense bright and early on yet another scorching hot morning at the Ciutat Esportiva.
Ernesto Valverde finalised preparations for his first ever game at the Camp Nou with Adrià Ortolá and Carles Aleñá of Barça B joining the regular first teamers.
André Gomes and Thomas Vermaelen will both be sitting out the game against Chapecoense. The Portuguese player took a knock in the hip playing against Gimnástic Tarragona last Friday, while the Belgian hurt his leg in the same match.
Once the Gamper is over, the rest of the week will involve training sessions every day apart from Wednesday in the build-up to the first official fixture of the 2017/18 season, the Spanish Super Cup first leg against Real Madrid on Sunday at 10.00pm CET.
