Leganés, Messi’s penultimate challenge

Leo Messi rarely needs extra motivation to get on the scoresheet but this Saturday’s game against Leganés could see the Argentine with a little more fire in his boots.

That is because the mercurial no.10 has scored against every side currently in the Spanish top division, except from two teams, one of which is Leganés.

Only Leganés and Las Palmas have avoided the wrath of Messi, who will be eager to tick off the remaining two teams off his list as soon as possible.

His favourite opponents are Atletico Madrid and Sevilla, against whom he scored 21 and 20 respectively in the league.
