After the League win over Celta Vigo, Ernesto Valverde’s players will go on their Christmas holidays as leaders in the domestic competition. They will return to work on Sunday, December 30, when they’ll undergo a closed-door double training session — at 10.30am and 6.00pm CET — in preparation for the first game of 2019.
The players Arthur, Suárez, Messi, Malcom, Munir and Vidal will return to training on Wednesday, 2 January at 6.00pm.
Christmas with the family, from December 24 to 29, can be enjoyed by the players because the Blaugranes have done the hard work: leaders in the League, qualified to the Champions League Round of 16 and through to the next stage of the Copa del Rey, a competition in which, on January 9, they will face Levante.
On January 4, the team will appear at its traditional open-doors training session.
