This Friday, Ernesto Valverde and Joan Francesc Ferrer ‘Rubi’ took part in the traditional pre-derby coaches meet and greet. Valverde was at the Cornellà–El Prat Stadium—where the game will be played at 8.45pm CET on Saturday night—and there he met up with the Espanyol manager, who will be coaching his first ever derby between Barça and Espanyol.
Both coaches had their pictures taken with their teams' jerseys and chatted briefly before wishing each other luck. The match will be televised live around the world and can also be followed on fcbarcelona.com's very own Match Center, as well as Barça's official social media accounts.
