Return to work thinking about Betis

After the Champions League tie against Inter Milan (1-1) and a rest day on Wednesday, Ernesto Valverde’s squad returned to training this Thursday. Already looking ahead to the next League game against Real Betis at the Camp Nou, players from the first team, including Lionel Messi and Samuel Umtiti, trained on pitch two of the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.

Those who started at the Giuseppe Meazza did recovery work, with Chumi, Miranda and Riqui Puig from Barça B making up the numbers. Ousmane Dembélé didn’t train because of gastroenteritis.

The next training session will be on Friday at 11.00am CET, the penultimate workout before receiving Real Betis on Sunday at 4.15pm CET.
