In the Psychological Support Service (SAP) at the Comprehensive Athlete Care Service, an initial psychosocial interview together with the athlete and their family’s assigned tutor to allow them to find out more about the service and how it works.
Once this step is done, the athlete has support for their individual needs during the whole season. This service can be requested by the family, the coach, the medical services, the tutor…
Advice is also available for tutors, coaches and family for any questions that may arise for the athletes during the season.
The athlete can access this service during the season whenever the need may arise. Each season more than 600 interviews are carried out to complement their tutorial work.
