Arnold Schwarzenegger visits the Camp Nou

The Austrian-American actor took advantage of the staging of the Arnold Classic Europe in the city to visit FC Barcelona’s Museum and facilities

Hollywood legend Arnold Schwarzenegger visited FC Barcelona’s Museum on Saturday morning, as well as taking a tour of the Camp Nou’s facilities. He was presented with a Barça shirt with his name on the back by Carles Vilarrubí, the Vice President in charge of the institutional area and international relations.

Board member Josep Ramon Vidal-Abarca was also in attendance as Arnie was given a full tour, checking out the display cabinets and the interactive installations, as well as learning about the club’s successes since its foundation.

It’s not the former California Governor’s first visit to the club. A year ago, he attended first team training, where he had his picture taken with various stars from the squad.

Schwarzenegger was taking advantage of the fact that he’s in the city to attend the Arnold Classic Europe, the second year in a row that the event has been staged in Barcelona. He cast a close eye on the Golden Balls and Golden Boots of Leo Messi in the Museum, as well as the sections on the club’s Champions League successes over the years.

“Barça has an amazing history, and the football they play is incredible,” said the Terminator star. “There are so many talented players here at the Camp Nou, and seeing all the trophies and videos of these great victories is a real joy.”
