Juan Carlos “meisoN” Chacón is a legend of the Spanish shooter scene. He began his professional career in 2002 playing Counter-Strike, and over the course of his nineteen-year career, he secured several national titles and some international participations. He played for teams such as Movistar Riders and x6tence.
In 2021, he made the transition to Valorant, where he competed for two seasons in several national competitions, representing teams such as Bisons Eclub.
The 2022 season was his last as a player, as he decided to retire and move into coaching. He began his coaching career in 2023 with Falcons, a club competing in Valorant Rising Spain. In 2024, he joined Barça eSports as assistant coach, and success soon followed as the team was crowned Valorant Rising Spain champions. In 2025, he took over as head coach, with Víctor “xikii” García serving as his assistant. Together, in 2026, they secured the club's second national championship title in its history.
Following these impressive results, the club continues to place its trust in him. This year, he faces the biggest challenge of his coaching career yet: securing qualification for the VCT through the Open Qualifier.
VALORANT competition returns this Thursday, November 5, with the opening round of Open Qualifier 1. Come and cheer us on, Culers!
