FC Barcelona has decided to suspend the operation of Gol 1957, known as the 'animation' section, for the next league match against Alavés.

The decision follows a series of disciplinary proceedings opened against the club and some of its members due to behaviour that goes against the values of sport. Such conduct exposes the club to financial penalties and the risk of stadium closure, as well as damaging its image.

The club will meet with representatives of the groups that make up Gol 1957 to address the situation and establish the necessary commitments to ensure passionate and respectful support for the team without putting FC Barcelona's assets or reputation at risk.

The club hopes that Gol 1957 can be fully operational again for the match against Aston Villa, provided that these discussions help resolve the situation and guarantee its proper functioning.

The club is committed to preserving the atmosphere created by its supporters, through everyone's shared commitment and responsibility, in the best interests of FC Barcelona.
