On the commercial front, Saturday’s Ordinary General Assembly gave the go-ahead to two new agreements negotiated by the club in recent months.
Ohana Development
The first was the approval of Ohana Development as a new FC Barcelona Global Partner through to the 2029/30 season. One of the Middle East’s leading real estate developers, the company has been granted a licence to develop an FC Barcelona-branded residential project in the United Arab Emirates until 2055. The agreement also includes a sponsorship deal to promote the project and the Ohana brand until 2030. Overall, the partnership will generate new revenue for the club through brand licensing and sponsorship in the real estate sector.
The company’s logo will appear on the back of the men’s and women’s first-team shirts for three seasons, from 2027/28 to 2029/30, in domestic competitions (LaLiga, the Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup) and friendly matches.
This item on the agenda was approved with 308 votes in favour (68%), 103 against (23%), 32 blank ballots (7%) and 10 abstentions (2%).
Babylon Park
The agreement with Babylon Park as a strategic partner of Espai Barça was also given the green light. The company has been granted a 25-year licence to develop and operate an indoor FC Barcelona-themed family entertainment centre at Spotify Camp Nou, offering immersive experiences related to football and family entertainment. The parties will also work on the gradual rollout of FC Barcelona-themed entertainment centres across Catalonia, with the potential for expansion into international markets.
This item on the agenda was approved with 252 votes in favour (56%), 158 against (35%), 31 blank ballots (7%) and 10 abstentions (2%).
With these two agreements now ratified, the club continues to expand its commercial operations, which have shown positive growth and strong prospects in recent years. They also demonstrate the strength of the Barça brand and its ability to attract international companies and drive strategic projects.
