Assessment from Xavi Puig

The director responsible for women's football, Xavi Puig, attended the draw in Nyon, Switzerland. Speaking from the venue he gave his reaction from a Barça perspective: "It was a demanding draw. We already know that the best clubs in the world are there, but now we all start from scratch. There are great teams and great opponents, and everyone wants to win. We are Barça, and our objective, as always, will be to compete, win and try to lift the Champions League trophy again." He also stated that the team is approaching this edition with "great excitement" and described it as "a privilege to be able to defend this title."
