Barça Atlètic officially got their 2026/27 preseason under way on Monday morning. As is customary on the first day back, the players underwent the usual medical and fitness assessments ahead of the start of training.
With a number of players having already joined the first team for the opening week of preseason, Juliano Belletti (who is preparing for his second season in charge of the Barça reserve side) began preparations with a mixed group of reserve-team and youth players. A total of 27 reported to the Ciutat Esportuva Joan Gamper on the opening day to complete the various tests before taking to the training pitch.
The full list was as follows: Álex Campos, Alexander Walton, Alexis Olmedo, Dani Ávila, David Oduro, Éder Aller, Guillem Víctor, Javi Castro, Joan Anaya, Jony Hernández, Landry Farré, Max Bonfill, Nil Vicens, Roger Martínez, Ignasi Quer, Juan Ybarra, Pedro Rodríguez, Pedro Villar, Roberto Tomás, Adam Argemí, Baba Kourouma, Iu Martínez, Jordi Pesquer, Lovro Chelfi, Adrián Guerrero, Nuhu Fofana and Juwensley Onstein.
Throughout the morning, the players underwent a range of medical and fitness tests, including blood tests, body composition and anthropometric assessments, podiatry examinations, dental health checks and a series of cardiac evaluations.
Once all the assessments had been completed, Barça Atlètic were due to hold their first preseason training session later on Monday, starting at 6.00pm CEST..
