The contract that links FC Barcelona and the player Tomas Satoransky ends on Tuesday 30 June. FC Barcelona would like to take the opportunity to publicly thank him for his commitment at Barça and wishes all the best for the future. 'Sato' has been a role model on and off the court, always displays his characteristic competitive nature. He leaves the Club having won seven trophies: the league in 2023, the 2015 Super Cup and the Catalan League in 2014, 2015, 2022, 2023 and 2024.

Six seasons in two spells 

The Czech guard had his first spell at Barça between 2014 and 2016 before leaving for the NBA after 150 appearances for the blaugranes. Satoransky returned for a second spell in 2022 in which he made 315 appearances as the orchestrator of the team's play. 

The longest serving player in the squad, he was captain last season and in total he made 465 appearances for Barça, 229 in the league, 207 in the Euroleague, 11 in the Copa, 10 in the Catalan League and eight in the Super Cup. 

No Barça player has more assists than Satoransky in the Euroleague with 888 in 207 games, at 4.2 per match, and he is second on the league all time list with 925 in 229 games, 4 per match.
