Cup winners once agian. Barça Women return from Gran Canaria with yet another trophy under their arm after defeating Atlético Madrid in the final. Pere Romeu’s side have therefore retained their Copa de la Reina title for the third consecutive season, reaffirming themselves as the absolute masters of the competition.

This is now the twelfth title in the Club's history, meaning the Blaugrana double the totals of Espanyol and Levante, who are second and third with six trophies each. This 2026 Cup joins the previous eleven: 1994, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2017, 2018, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2024, and 2025.

Absolute dominance

Thus, the victory in Gran Canaria, the first match ever played by Barça Women on the island, marks their third consecutive Copa title, sixth in the last seven years, and eighth in the last ten. Barcelona’s dominance in domestic football remains unquestionable.

Another domestic treble, now the Champions League awaits

Not only have they retained their Copa crown, but once again, and for the third consecutive season, they have secured the domestic treble, adding the Cup to the League and the Super Cup. Now, all focus turns to the Champions League final next Saturday in Oslo.
