The FC Barcelona handball team took a 38-24 win in the ASOBAL League over Guadalajara to keep Carlos Ortega's team on track for a perfect season in the domestic competition. Barça began to dominate towards the end of the first half and then took control in the second with Carlsbogard, Óscar Grau and Elderaa top scoring. 

Strong start from Guadalajara 

The game started with Guadalajara matching the blaugranes for intensity and Carlos Ortega's team watched the home side take a 6-4 lead before pegging them back to 9-9. The blaugranes then took a four point lead only to be pulled back again by Guadalajara who reduced Barça's lead to 17-15 at half time. 

Barça turn it on

The second half turned Barça's way as they moved quickly into a six goal lead. Cikusa added valuable strikes with Carlos Ortega's dominating the encounter to record a 38-24 win away from home and keep their hopes of a 100% ASOBAL season on track.
