After their 6-2 win in the Champions League against Real Madrid in the first leg of their quarter-final, Pere Romeu's side were once again victorious away from home in the Clásico, winning 3-0 in the Liga F. The third meeting comes next Thursday when the blaugranes take their advantage to Spotify Camp Nou for the second leg of their European tie.

Ona Batlle opens the scoring 

Barça imposed themselves on their opponents from the very first minute in the Alfredo Di Stéfano stadium but it was not until the 18th minute that they took the lead. Ona Batlle made it 1-0 to the blaugranes with a deflected shot from the edge of the box as Barça had more than 70% possession in the first half. 

Before the break Patri Guijarro and Alexia both went close but Pere Romeu's team had to be content with a one goal lead at half time. In the second half Barça's dominance continued and after just 6 minutes Alexia made it 2-0 after some excellent work from Caroline Graham Hansen. A third goal soon followed, another Graham Hansen cross deflected into her own net by Real Madrid defender Lakrar. 

With the result never in doubt, Barça looked to add to their lead but had to content with the three goal margin as they are now 13 points ahead of Real Madrid in the league with just 18 points still to play for.
