Possible last sixteen opponents
One out of PSG, Newcastle United, Monaco and Qarabag will be FC Barcelona's opponent in the Champions League knockout stage
FC Barcelona did what they had to do, comeback included, and beat Copenhagen 4-1 to earn their spot in the last sixteen of the Champions League.
In fact, their brilliant second half performance means they finished as high as fifth in the final table, which means they will next face the winners of the playoffs between the teams that finished 11th and 12th and the teams that finished 21st and 22nd. In other words Barça's last sixteen opponents will be PSG, Newcastle United, Monaco or Qarabag. Friday's draw will determine which of the first two will be playing with of the second two.
It will not be until a further draw on February 27 that Barça find out exactly which team they'll be up against next.
