A 0-2 win for Barça away to Alhama in a match that was far from easy. Pina opened the scoring in the first half, while Graham got the second after the break and Patri returned from injury.

Pina gets opener

The first game back in the Liga F for FC Barcelona saw them face Alhama, who clearly were going to make things difficult from the outset by sitting in a tight defensive block. All the same, the blaugranes controlled the game with possession and were making constant forays towards the host's goal.

The opener came after 22 minutes, when Pina expertly controlled a Kika corner before slamming into the roof of the net at the back post, her 14th goal of the season, just reward for the visitors' attacking intent. Barça continued to dominate the play throughout the rest of the half, while Alhama were camped in their own half, and the blaugranes were good for their first half lead.

Patri returns and result confirmed

The second half saw Barça continue control, probing for another chance to extend their lead, and the second goal came when a Kika cross was prodded back into the area for Graham to get that all important second goal.

Some great news after 80 minutes as Patri returned to the pitch after injury for the first time since mid October and she helped the team to round out this victory in the first Liga F match after the winter break.
