First session of the week for the Super Cup champions as FC Barcelona began their preparations for their continuing defence of their Copa del Rey crown won last season as part of their domestic treble. Segunda División club Racing Santander will be the opponents away from home for Hansi Flick's team in the one off last 16 tie.

Activity returned to the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper on Tuesday with Barça resuming training with all the first team players available taking part plus Tommy from Barça Atlètic. 

Next up for the blaugranes is the Copa del Rey tie against Second Division league leaders Racing Santander at El Sardinero stadium in Cantabria. Wednesday will see another training session for the squad followed by a press conference from coach Hansi Flick at 1pm CET. 

On Thursday the squad will head north to Santander for the 9pm kick off against Racing as the blaugranes look to retain the Copa del Rey following last season's epic win over Real Madrid in the final.
