The Spanish Super Cup win against Real Madrid allowed Barça to claim their first trophy of the season and equal a decade old record. Hansi Flick's team have recorded their longest run of wins in recent months since the days when Luis Enrique was blaugrana coach.

Win after win

The blaugranes are in their best form of the season. After an opening few months with ups and downs, Barça have got into the stride following the setback against Chelsea in the Champions League. Since that day in Stamford Bridge the team have put together a run of 10 successive wins, including victories at home over Atlético Madrid (3-1) and away at Betis (5-3) and Villarreal (2-0). A win in the Catalan derby 2-0 away at Espanyol and the 3-2 victory in the Clásico Super Cup final in Saudai Arabia are other highlights of this great streak that Hansi Flick's team find themselves in at the moment.

Luis Enrique stats

The Barça side to hit double figures in terms of successive wins were the team coached by Luis Enrique back between April 2016 and August of the same year. If Barça can beat Racing Santander in the Copa del Rey in their next game then they will equal another run under the now PSG coach when he guided Barça to 11 straight wins in January and February of 2015.
