The Barça futsal team came through with a 5-1 win away from home at Peñíscola to end a run of one win in their last four games coming into Saturday's game. Adolfo, two from Matheus, Pito and Antonio were on target for the blaugranes in a morale boosting victory in the league.

The home side sought to dominate the early minutes but as early as the 3rd minute Barça were ahead - Pito setting up Adolfo for the latter to beat keeper Gus and make it 1-0 to Barça. João Víctor was dismissed to leave Barça a man down and Peñíscola came close forcing an excellent save from blaugrana keeper Dídac and then hitting the post.

However, before half time Barça made it 2-0 when Matheus finished well to score his 7th of the season in the league. After the break the pace went up a notch and Matheus grabbed another to make it 3-0 before home side keeper Gus found the net to pull one back.

Former Peñíscola man Gauna on his return set up Pito for Barça's fourth which killed off any hope of a comeback for the home side in the 23rd minute. Barça dominated from that moment onwards and Antonio sealed the win with a fifth on 32 minutes.

Barça are next in aciton on Saturday 2 November at 1pm CET at home to Palma Futsal.
