FC Barcelona are putting the finishing touches to their preparations for Sunday’s clash with Sevilla at the Sánchez-Pizjuán (4.15pm CEST)). Hansi Flick’s men held their final training session at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper this Saturday morning, and are now all set for the trip to Andalusia.
The session happened without Lamine Yamal, who is still struggling with groin pain. The young forward is expected to be out for two to three weeks, ruling him out of this weekend’s fixture. Jofre Torrents also missed the session, as he is back working with Barça Atlètic.
After training, the team will travel to Seville this afternoon, where a difficult test awaits at the Sánchez-Pizjuán. Even so, the squad head south full of confidence, sitting top of the table and determined to claim another three points to consolidate their lead before the international break.
No doubt, this evening they will be keeping a watchful eye on how their main rivals, Real Madrid, fare in a home fixture against Villarreal, a game that kicks off at 9pm CEST.
