Next Saturday 13 December, the Barça Legends will be in Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic) to play the Real Madrid Leyendas. The game will be played at the Estadio Olímpico Félix Sánchez, which holds 27,000 spectators and kicks off at 7.30pm local time (12.30am Sunday morning CEST). After meeting five times in 2024-25, this will be the first game between the teams in the current season. 

The first Barça Legend whose presence has been confirmed is none other than Carles Puyol, who has already played six times under coach Albert Ferrer, including games against Madrid in Mumbai (India) and Toluca (Mexico). Further members of the team are set to be announced shortly. 

Who are the Barça Legends 

Barça Legends is a Club-managed programme that was created in 2016 to integrate former Barça players into a permanent professional project with the Club to help spread the Barça brand and present the Club's values around the world. Over 80 players have participated in at least one match since Barça Legends began.
