After success in the Spanish Super Cup in January, the German is keep to add a second trophy to the collection for 2024/25. "The stadium is incredibly good and we have to enjoy the game. We want to win this final," said Flick in his pre-game press conference on Friday in Seville.

The coach feels his side into the game of the back of a "great performance against Mallorca" and "fighting to the end" against Celta. The Barça boss wants more of the same on Saturday against Real Madrid.

“Real Madrid have a great team”

Flick's press appearance was marked by his trademark prudence. "We know it will be tough and they have a fantastic team. We are up against one of the best side in the world. I want us to respect Real Madrid," said the coach before the final.

Ferran Torres and left back

With Robert Lewandowski injured, the coach was asked about a possible start for Ferran Torres. Flick has confidence in his squad: "Ferran in the cup, in every game, has shown that he can play as a '9'. He knows how we want to play in this position."

With Alejandro Balde also missing due to injury there were also questions about left back. "We will see tomorrow," replied Flick with a broad smile as his focus remains on Saturday's final in La Cartuja.
