First contact with Estadio do Dragão. The FC Barcelona players trained on the Porto pitch prior to the Champions League matchday two game on 4 October (9pm CEST). 

As Xavi Hernández himself stated in the pre-match press conference for Porto v Barça, there is a lot of history in this arena. They are Champions League winners and have had such great players like Deco, Vítor Baía and Costinha.

With a backdrop of blue seats and a dragon on the crest, the available blaugranas set foot on the pitch prior to the second matchday of Europe's premier club competition. A setting with good blaugrana memories too, even with a photo of Leo Messi inside, and where the Catalans will aim to win another three points in the 2023/24 group stage. 

So, that was Barça's final training session before another Champions League game that grows ever closer.
