Friday saw the team back at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper. 

The players gathered for the final training session before the 4.15pm CET kick-off against Girona on Saturday. They were also joined by youth players Astralaga and Alarcón, the latter fresh from signing a new contract through to 2025.

 

After it was done, Xavi Hernández made his way to the pressroom for a conference prior to the trip to Montilivi. "Girona is a valiant side and they have an aggressive high line" he said. "Michel is one of my favourite coaches. They could make things difficult for us. It'll be a tough match."
