Barça 75–60 Unicaja: Solid win to round off the week

The blaugranes pick up a victory that leaves them in third place in the table

Second win in a row in the league and third of the week after the victory in the Euroleague against Monaco. Barça dispatched Unicaja 75-60 at the Palau in a game in which Laprovittola scored 13 points and provided 4 assists.

Little by little

Unicaja are always difficult opponents and Sunday was no exception. The team from Málaga came into the game on the same number of wins as the home side and kept pace with Barça in the first period until Saras Jasikevicius' team accelerated to take an 18-13 lead.

In the second period Mike Tobey took the leader's role with 10 points, helping the blaugranes to a 37-30 advantage at half time.

Come the second half and Ibon Navarro's Unicaja fought back to make it 46-45 and come within a point. The game was still up for grabs going into the final quarter at 53-50 to Barça. In the last period of the game after an initial period of resistance from the visitors, Saras' side took control to claim a comfortable 75-60 win ahead of Friday's fixture in the Euroleague away at Valencia Basket.
