The four captains from La Masia continue at Barça for the third successive season. The players who will wear the armband are Leo Messi, Sergio Busquets, Gerard Piqué and Sergi Roberto, in that order.
Since the departure of Andrés Iniesta in 2018 the Argentine has had the job of captaining Barça. The blaugrana number 10 in in his 17th season at the Club and his third as captain.
Midfielder Sergio Busquets is in his 13th season with Barça and for the third season in a row he will be the second captain. He was third captain from 2015 and the season before fourth.
With regards to Gerard Piqué, the centre back is also in his 13th season with the first and it will be his third as one of the captains. Finally, Sergi Roberto has been a first team member since 2013 and rounds off the quartet from La Masia who captain the team for the third season in a row.
