The squad for Ibiza

Quique Setién has named the eighteen players that will be travelling to Ibiza for Wednesday’s Copa del Rey game at 7.00pm CET.

The list is as follows:

Ter Stegen, Nelson Semedo, Ivan Rakitic, Arthur, Neto, Clement Lenglet, Antoine Griezmann, Jordi Alba, Sergi Roberto, Frenkie De Jong, Arturo Vidal, Samuel Umtiti, Junior Firpo, Carles Pérez, Riqui Puig, Abel Ruiz, Ansu Fati and Chumi.

That means Gerard Piqué, Leo Messi and Moussa Wagué will all be rested, while Sergio Busquets is suspended and Luis Suárez and Ousmane Dembélé are injured.

Suárez back at Ciutat Esportiva

The team trained for the last time before the game in a cold, wet and very windy Barcelona. The venue was the Tito Vilanova, with the Barça B players named in the cip squad also present.

Also at the training ground was Luis Suárez as he begins recovery from the knee injury that is keeping him out of action for an estimated four months.
