Blaugrana quartet train in Ann Arbor
The same four players who trained alone at Barry University in Miami did so again at the University of Michigan; full squad to train in the afternoon
ANN ARBOR, Michigan — Philippe Coutinho, Arthur Melo, Arturo Vidal and Iñaki Peña were the only Barça players who trained here on Friday morning, and will join the rest of their teammates later in the afternoon when they work out at Michigan Stadium.
Three of the players — Coutinho, Arthur, and Arturo Vidal — were among the last players to rejoin the team for the pre-season following their participation in the Copa América earlier this summer.
The session was held on campus at the University of Michigan’s soccer stadium.
Barça will train for the final time in the United States on Friday afternoon at Michigan Stadium, where on Saturday they wrap up the pre-season with another friendly against Napoli.
