Abel Ruiz now knows what it is now to play at Camp Nou with the first team. The Barça B striker made his debut in the 2-0 victory against Getafe becoming the seventh player this season from the B squad to appear in Ernesto Valverde's team. The others have been Riqui Puig, Wague, Chumi, Cuenca, Miranda and Collado.
The 19 year old came on for Philippe Coutinho after 68 minutes and played the last 25 minutes of the La Liga encounter.
Abel Ruiz has played 21 games for the B side this season scoring three goals. The Valencian has passed through various age groups at the Club and he was part of the U19 squad that claimed the UEFA Youth League title in 2018.
"It is a dream for any player from the youth teams and I was really looking forward to getting this opportunity. I just have to keep working hard to get more chances," said the striker after making his debut.
