After a day’s rest, the FC Barcelona first team returned to work on Saturday morning for the final training session before Sunday’s night’s crunch game with Real Madrid (9.00pm CET). Luis Enrique didn’t draw on the services of any Barça B players for a session on the Tito Vilanova field at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper. The first fifteen minutes were open to the media, after which the remaining exercises were conducted in private.
It was great to see that Sergio Busquets was able to train alongside his colleagues, although he has to be given the official all-clear by the team doctors. Before getting down to the serious stuff, the players also made a point of congratulating Jordi Alba, who is 26 today.
