    In the summer of 2023, FC Barcelona struck a deal with BM Logroño La Rioja to sign 20-year-old Javi Rodríguez, a player with a promising future who made a huge contribution in his final season at his former club with 97 goals in 30 games in the Liga Asobal.

    Rodríguez made his full international debut for Spain in April 2023, having captained the Spain junior team to the European Championship in 2022.

    Before Logroño, Javi Rodríguez played for BM Guadalajara in 2020/21.
