Barça were held to a 2-2 draw in Córdoba in a tight encounter in which the blaugranes had to come from behind. The blaugranes had the better of the early exchanges and took the lead in just the fifth minute when Matheus volleyed home spectacularly from a corner. 

The home side tried to maintain possession for long periods and after 10 minutes they were level when Pescio took advantage of a mistake by the blaugranes at the back. 

On 20 minutes Córdoba were ahead - Nico Marrón scoring to make it 2-1 at half time. 

In the second half Córdoba keeper Fabio made several vital saves to maintain his side's lead as Barça pressed for the equaliser. The goal to make it 2-2 finally came when Matheus' shot was deflected by a defender in the 33rd minute. Barça had a late chance to win it through Antonio but Córdoba survived to take a point with the final score 2-2 in the Palacio Vista Alegre.
