Martina

Born on 11 October 2004 en Ordis (Alt Empordà), Martina Fernández set out on her footballing career at FC Borrassà, before leaving to join Girona in 2016. Two years later she joined the FC Barcelona youth system in 2018. She went on to make her debut with the first team in the 2021/22 season, specifically in February 2022 when she was 17 years old. She continued developing from that point onwards over the following two seasons.

In the 2023/24 season, she played 15 matches in the Liga F, 13 as a starter, making 22 appearances in all competitions. In the summer of 2024, she became a member of the first team.

In January 2025, she left on loan to join English side Everton, who went on to sign her permanently that summer for the 2025/25 season, during which she made 25 appearances in the league.

In July 2026, Barça invoked her buyback clause to bring her back to the blaugranes.

On the international stage, Fernández was called up for Spain U19s in October 2021, with whom she won the 2022 and 2023 U19 Euros. She made her debut for the U23s in a friendly against Sweden on 30 November 2023.
