Geyse Ferreira was born in Brazil in March 1998. She has always been an outstanding striker, and has only improved since her move to Europe. She scored 16 goals in her first four games for Benfica, six of those in a single game.
In 2021/22 she was joint top scorer in Primera Iberdrola, with the same 20 goals as Asisat Oshoala of Barça. Geyse scored almost 50% of Madrid CFF’s goals, helping her side to stay in the top flight.
She made her national debut for Brazil in 2017 and was at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
Ferreira is a powerful striker who lives to score goals, as reflected by her incredible stats. She can shoot with both feet and few defenders are able to match her phenomenal speed.
