Caroline Graham Hansen will continue making history with FC Barcelona until at least 2028. The Norwegian winger officially signed her new contract at the club's offices at the Spotify Camp Nou.

"It's the best club in the world and the place where I've been happiest playing football in my career" she said to open the press conference announcing her two-year contract extension. She joined FC Barcelona from VfL Wolfsburg in the summer of 2019 and has since established herself as one of the team's most influential players.

Eager for more

Graham Hansen has played her part in all four of the club's UEFA Women's Champions League triumphs: Gothenburg 2021, Eindhoven 2023, Bilbao 2024 and Oslo 2026. Speaking about the competition, she said: "Every year we try to reach the Champions League final. That's what we prepare for every day—to be at our best and to keep winning for this club."

The Norwegian also spoke about the coming season and the leadership role she expects to take on following the changes to the squad. "The team will be younger than ever" she said. "I'll take on the responsibility of helping us keep winning and continue improving as a group. Together we'll build a new team that will go on winning trophies."

Delighted to stay

During her time at Barça, Graham Hansen has won seven Liga F titles, six Copa de la Reina trophies, four Champions League titles and six Spanish Super Cups, but her hunger for success remains undiminished.

Reflecting on her contract extension, the 31-year-old said: "I always knew I wanted to stay. In my mind, it was always a yes."
She concluded with a message ahead of the new campaign, expressing her ambition to "have an even better season than the last one."

'Caro' will remain a Barça player for at least two more seasons.
