Born in Mallorca on 23 April, 2001, in the summer of 2019, Cata Coll joined Barça from Collerense and then spent the 2019/20 season on loan at Sevilla where she proved herself to be on the top goalkeepers in the women's game.
On her return to Barça Coll played a vital role in winning the Copa de la Reina, starting in the quarter-finals, semis and the final. The goalkeeper also made her debut in the UEFA Champions League in December 2020 against PSV Eindhoven in the Estadi Johan Cruyff.
In 2023/24 she became first choice in all competitions as the team claimed the league title, the Copa de la Reina, the Spanish Super Cup and the Champions League in a record breaking campaign.
In the summer of 2018, at the age of 17, she was one of the captains during the historic triumph of the Spanish U17 team at the World Cup. In the same year, she was a starter for the U20 side at the World Cup in France.
In the summer of 2023 the goalkeeper made her debut for the full national side in the last 16 of the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. Coll went on to start in the final keeping a clean sheet in the 1-0 win over England to claim the trophy.
Cata Coll also played in the Paris Olympics in 2024 where Spain finished in fourth place in the tournament.
Cata Coll has a strong physical presence in between the posts and is a born lead on the field.
