There's no stopping Hansi Flick's Barça. Even when they fall behind, this team never gives up, and Tuesday's victory away to Galatasaray was another demonstration of their remarkable fighting spirit. The 4-1 win featured yet another comeback, the 20th since the German coach took charge.

That refusal to accept defeat has become one of the defining characteristics of this team. Falling behind no longer seems to cause alarm. It sometimes almost feels like they are kindly giving the opposition a head start, knowing that they will still turn things around and go on to win. And the statistics back it up: Flick's Barça have recorded the two highest seasonal comeback totals of the last 14 years.

Three comebacks already this season

Barça have made a flying start to the campaign, winning all ten of their opening matches. Three of those victories have come from behind, most recently against Galatasaray, where an early Turkish lead was swept aside in a commanding display.

Pedri, Lamine Yamal and Rodri were among the driving forces behind the turnaround, with goals from Cancelo, Gordon, Fermín and Adeyemi transforming a 1-0 deficit into an emphatic 4-1 victory.

Rayo Vallecano at Spotify Camp Nou and Sevilla at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán have also experienced Barça's comeback powers this season. Both took 1-0 leads, only to suffer convincing defeats: 5-2 against Rayo and 3-1 against Sevilla.

Last season, Barça came from behind to win no fewer than ten times, a figure unmatched in the previous 14 campaigns. The second-highest total also belongs to Flick's Barça, with seven comeback victories in his first season at the helm.

Goals galore, teamwork, relentless high pressing and the character to overcome adversity: Flick's Barça have plenty of qualities, and together they have produced a side that, so far this season, looks unstoppable.
