FC Barcelona are now in the city of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia where over the next week the Spanish Super Cup will take place. 

The blaugrana delegation is led by president Joan Laporta and the party left Barcelona-El Prat airport at 1pm CET on Monday. After a five and a half hour journey the plane landed at King Abdulaziz International Airport, followed by a two hour transfer to their hotel. 

Aside from the Barça president Joan Laporta and the squad named on Monday by coach Hansi Flick, also making the trip are first vice president Rafael Yuste, board members Antonio Escudero, Xavier Barbany, Miquel Camps and Joan Soler, Director of Football Anderson Luis de Souza “Deco”, and Coordinator of the Football Area Bojan Krkic amongst others. 

How Tuesday looks

On Tuesday the Barça squad will train at 6pm CET following a press conference from coach Hansi Flick and one of the members of the squad ahead of Wednesday's Spanish Super Cup semi-final against Athletic Club de Bilbao, kick off 8pm CET. The winner will play either Atlético Madrid or Real Madrid in Sunday's final at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, the venue for all three matches in the tournament.
