On 18 January Dani Olmo picked up a calf injury in the 1-1 draw against Getafe and 18 days later he made his comeback in the second half of Barça's win over Valencia in the Copa del Rey.
On 63 minutes Olmo came on to replace Pedri with Barça 5-0 up thanks to a hat-trick from Ferran Torres and strikes from Fermín and Lamine Yamal.
Olmo almost set up a goal for Lamine Yamal and had an effort well saved by Valencia keeper Dmitrievski in the second half. Hansi Flick now has an extra weapon in midfield for the upcoming game against Sevilla on Sunday.
