FC Barcelona striker matches David Villa for goals and adds another team to his collection of victims

Robert Lewandowski is a guarantee of goals. The Polish striker netted number 48 in an FC Barcelona shirt on Sunday against Granada. That's the 19th different Liga team against which he has either scored or assisted, meaning there are just three that have so far escaped unscathed from his attacking might.

50 in touching distance

Lewandowski has only needed 78 games to score his 48 goal, which already equals David Villa, who needed 120 games to get his own 48. And the great Thierry Henry is well within his sights, a player who scored 49 times for the Catalans, but did so in 121 games, also considerably more than Lewy has needed.

The fastest Barça players to reach 50 goals this century have been Samuel Eto'o and Luis Suárez, both in 68 games. Lewandowski won't be faster than either of them, but should go third in the ranking above Ronaldinho, who got his first half-ton after 108 appearances. Lewandowski only needs two more goals and has 30 games in which to get them!

19 victims

Lewandowski scored against Granada, the 19th different team against which he has been involved in a goal. The only sides against which he has neither scored not given an assist are Atlético Madrid, Getafe and Las Palmas. His top victim has been Elche, with four goal participations, while has three against all of Villarreal, Betis, Alavés, Real Sociedad and Valladolid.

In total he has scored against 17 different teams, Almeria and Real Madrid being the two against which he has given an assist but never actually scored himself. But with plenty more goals to come this season for sure, there's no doubt that come May such a potent goal-getter will have added new victims to his ever-expanding list.
