Leo Messi breaks records on an almost weekly basis. With his brace against Real Sociedad, he now has 700 goals for FC Barcelona: 663 in official matches and 37 in friendlies. There has never been a player quite like Messi and there probably won’t ever be one again!
It makes him the highest goalscorer of all time in a single league championship.
In the biggest European leagues, the top goalscorers of all-time are Jimmy Greaves (England, 357), Gerd Müller (Germany, 365), Silvio Piola (Italy, 274) and Delio Onnis (France, 299). Nobody even comes close to Leo Mess!
