Ansu Fati thrilled to be Golden Boy nominee

On the day of his eighteenth birthday, Ansu Fati has told Italian sports paper Tutto Sports about his excitement to be named among the 20 candidates for the Golden Boy award.

“It was a thrill to be nominated” he said. “I have to keep on working every day so nice things like this can continue to happen.”

"All twenty of the players are very good. They all had great seasons with their clubs and national teams. At the end of the day, we are all winners just for appearing in the list.”
