22. Xavi Espart

Xavi Espart has been at Barça since the summer of 2015 when he joined from UE Vilassar de Mar as an U8 player. He went through the youth categories quickly, reaching the U19 squad where he operated mainly as a full back. 

Espart is a versatile midfielder who can play in the centre of midfield or in a wider position, and he can also operate in defence. 

In the 2024/25 season, even though he was an U19 still, Espart made his debut with Barça Atlètic on August 31, 2024, away at Andorra. Throughout the season, he occasionally was involved with Atlètic, making six appearances, one of them as a starter. In the 2025/26 season, he is one of the captains of the squad.
