    His height allows him to be excellent under the high ball

    Ander Astralaga Aranguren came to the La Masia set up in the summer of 2018 from Athletic Club de Bilbao. The Basque keeper joined the U16A side before moving up to the U19s. 

    In the 2021/22 season Astralaga made his debut for Barça Atlétic in a win away at Betis Deportivo. The following season he was in the match day squad for the first team fixture between Girona and Barça in January 2023. 

    In April 2023 he reached an agreement to extend his contract with the blaugranes until June 2025. His height helps his game under the high ball and he is also proficient with the ball at his feet.
