One of the top goalscorers ever in Spanish Football, Jennifer Hermoso (Madrid, 1990) has been a role model on and off the field

In the winter transfer window in 2013 Barça signed Jennifer Hermoso from Swedish club Tyreso. The striker would go on to become a vital figure at the Club, not just for her goals but also for her leadership and character.

One of the best goalscorers in the history of the women's game, Hermoso was capable of feats such as scoring six in one game as she did in a win over Oiartzun in May 2017 in the league. She was also top scorer in the league in 2015/16, 2016/17, 2019/20 and 2020/21 - 2017/18 was spent at PSG and in 2018/19 she was top scorer again but this time playing for Atlético Madrid. In 2019 she was back at Barça to help them become the force they are now and in 2021 she was part of the treble winning squad before leaving in 2022 to sign for Mexican side Pachuca.

Once Jennifer Hermoso said in an interview with fans: "To girls who want to be footballers, I would say that your dreams can come true with hard work but you have to study as well because the path is long and you have to be prepared for everything. I urge you to keep trying."
