A product of Brigham Young University in Utah, where he played from 2009 to 2013, Davies represented his college for four seasons and 135 games, scoring 12.4PPG and averaging 6.2RPG. In his final season at BYU, Davies captained the team and racked up 17.7PPG.
After trying his luck in the NBA with the Philadelphia 76ers and Brooklyn Nets between 2013 and 2015, in January of 2015 he made his first professional excursion to Europe. In France, with Chalon-sur Saone, he played eight games, then moved to Varese in Italy and returned to France for the 2016/17 campaign with Monaco. His good work there attracted the interest of Zalgiris Kaunus, and he spent two seasons there.
In the summer of 2019, he joined Barça on a two-year contract.
