Luis Suárez hasn't stopped scoring in his time at Barça - seen here after netting in Girona | MIGUEL RUIZ - FCB

It is three years to the day since one of the most highly-awaited Barça debuts ever.

Luis Suárez, one of the greatest strikers of all time and already a living legend after his exploits for Ajax, Liverpool and his country Uruguay, finally appeared in an official fixture for the blaugrana on 25 October 2014.

It had been a long and frustrating wait. Despite realising a boyhood dream and signing for the Catalan giants in July, Suárez was serving a FIFA suspension and was unable to play.

And when he was finally able to take to the field, it was in none other than a Clásico against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Luis Enrique started the player, who went on to provide the assist for Neymar Jr to score the only FCB goal of a game that sadly ended with the home side winning 3-1.

The defeat was the only negative note to the day, but Barça would pick up the pieces and go on to win yet another Liga title.
